Hi, I’m Lewis McKenna, a Mortgage & Protection Adviser here at Mortgage Experience. I’m based in Maidstone, Kent, and after many years in the financial industry, I’ve built not only a strong foundation of knowledge, but a genuine passion for helping people achieve something truly life-changing, owning their home.
My journey in financial services began in 2019, driven by my long-standing interest in finance and business. I earned my CeMAP qualification independently and took a leap of faith into the mortgage world. Since then, I’ve gone on to own two successful Kent-based businesses and build a portfolio of buy-to-let properties, all starting from absolute zero. Because of that, I understand what hard work, determination, and having the right support can do. And that’s exactly what I aim to give my clients.
I started my career as a mortgage and protection adviser and progressed to a senior role covering three major estate agency branches across Kent. Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation for going the extra mile — often securing mortgages where other advisers haven’t. I’ve worked with clients from all backgrounds, including many with complex situations, and I’ve learned that every client has their own unique story. Home ownership isn’t just a financial goal; it’s personal. It’s emotional. And I take that responsibility seriously.
